Less Is More - Thinking of You

Happy Memorial Day to all of my US friends.  We will head off to the park, to the annual festivities.  In the meantime, we have another challenge starting today at Less is More.  This is a one-layer theme week and our main theme is Thinking of You.  Always in need of these type of cards, so perfect timing.

Here's my take on the challenge...

This is a quick card.  Some simple stamping and lots of white space.  I think this card took me a total of five minutes.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by!

Addicted to CAS - Sea

This has been a strange weather week...kinda like winter...cloudy and a bit cool.  Oh well, it makes nice tennis weather.  Next week, we will be seeing some summer weather.

We have a new challenge at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this week is Sea!  I did something a bit different, but hey, isn't that what being creative is all about.  Here's my take on the challenge...

Super quick and easy.  I used some patterned paper that looks like sand and simply stamped some flip flops.  I added a bit of color and my sentiment strip.  I think this took 5 minutes :)

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Addicted to CAS - Mom

Another beautiful day in store for us today.  Looking forward to a bit of a picnic and some time at the beach.  Hope you have something fun planned too!

We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  Just in time for Mother's Day.  Here's my take on the challenge....

This is a quick card I made with this sweet little super mom.  I colored her with Copics and popped her up on some foam tape.  I stamped and die cut the sentiment and also colored and popped up the sentiment for a bit of dimension.

I added the background splatters and done.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Less is More - Yellow, Blue & Grey

Another beautiful May week.  Just lovely out, and a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the outdoors!

We have another challenge starting today at Less is More.  This is a color challenge and our theme is blue, yellow and grey.  Here's my take on the challenge...

I started by stamping my images.  I then colored them with Copics.  I masked the images and added a bit of fluffy clouds in the background.  I then added the panel as an inlaid die so it is easy for sending through the mail.

I colored and cut out the balloon and added it last.

A pretty quick and easy card.  Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

CAS on Friday - Cute

Another beautiful week gone by...have a fun tennis match with friends this morning.  Looking forward to some outside time with the girls!

We have another challenge starting today at CAS on Friday.  Our theme for this week is Cute...use a cute image on your card.  Here's my take on the challenge...

Nothing cuter than these little cows from My Favorite Things.  I just love them.

I stamped the first one, masked her off and stamped the other two.  I used my Copic markers to color them in.  I added my sentiment, then added a bit of color to the bottom of the card.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Less is More - Sketch

I have a puppy training class this morning.  Baxter is doing well, but always can use another class.  It is a beautiful day to hang at the park, so we are going to class!

We have another challenge starting today at Less is More.  Our theme for this challenge is a sketch challenge.  Here's my take on the challenge...

I wasn't sure what to do for this sketch...I thought of going floral, but then decided to go a bit in a different direction.  I had these button dies for quite sometime and thought it might be fun to use them here.

I used the inlaid die technique and put the buttons down in pink and purple.  I then colored and cut my main image.  I added the sentiment and done.

I love this cute little monster....she is so cute!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Addicted to CAS - Gold

It has been a beautiful week...lots of outdoor activities.  The yard is beautiful, the tennis courts dry and the puppy happy!  All is good on this end.

We have another challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this challenge is Gold.  I don't do a ton of gold, so this is always a challenge for me.  I opted to look ahead to Christmas.  Here is my take on the challenge.

This is a quick 4 x 4 card.  I used the inlaid die technique for both the presents and the sentiment.  Because this card is so CAS, I decided to use gold glitter paper to give it a bit more sparkle.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
